Hello pork lovers! You will be delighted with the opening of this pork food kiosk in Kelapa Gading. Meet this angkringan babi, Warung Porki. It is located across OTW Food Street and Nasi Uduk Lapangan Tennis. To be more precisely, it is near Bakmi Atham. You will find a small house with a small angkringan.

The place is quiet small, the outdoor is for smoking area and the indoor for non-smoking area. The indoor is only fit for 10 people and the place is rather hot. The outdoor area is suitable for hangout and buy the foods. The interior is simple, minimalist, and gives you a new modern concept of angkringan.

Warung Porki offers you various pork-based foods in affordable price. The main courses are Nasi Babi Rica (spicy pork shredded with sambal rica), Nasi Babi Woku (spicy pork meat with sambal woku), Nasi Babi Chasio Madu (roasted red pork cooked with honey), and Nasi Bacian (sweet minced meat pork). All of the rice dishes are IDR 6000. So cheap, but the portion is small (like nasi kucing).

What did we have for dinner?

I chose to eat Nasi Rica with bakso bakar and siomay. For me, the rica was not spicy at all, need another improvement of the taste. The siomay was plain, but the bakso bakar was good!

My friend chose to have Nasi Chasio Madu with bakso bakar and sate babi. The rice was good, sweet-savoury taste of the chasio. The pork was tender and good. The sate babi was also good, fatty and sweet.

The woku rice was not spicy, but you can taste the green chili there. The steamed minced pork was so small and the taste was similar to the steamed pork meatball. The Ngohiang was good, but they should fry it again before they serve it to the customers.
