Bear of Color Shop, Hong Kong

Hello! I found a small coffee shop at the opposite of Dim Sum Icon, on the 3/F of The ONE Mall, Hong Kong. Maybe not many people have noticed this place since I have not found any blog review about this place. It s a hidden gem in Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong.

I did not try any drinks or cakes because I had my snack time in Dim Sum Icon. I just took some pictures because all stuffs in this place are cute and adorable. I bought the small bears and a tiny bear with my name on its T-shirt.

You may buy the stationery and all those good stuffs there. The bears are so fluffly and cute. I would lose myself to buy the big bear if I did not remember that my luggage is not big. You can also try the cakes there or you can buy flower package containing the bears for your loved ones.j

Just enjoy the photos!

Hokkaido Dairy Farm, Hong Kong

Hello food lovers! My travel journey started in this small cute cafe, namely Hokkaido Dairy Farm. I spotted this cafe when my taxi passed after I landed in Hong Kong =p Since it is near from my hotel in Mong Kok, thus I did search some search about this cafe.

The place is small, but cute. The decoration is simple, dominated by blue-white colour, and it makes you feel like you are eating in a small barn. From the outside, the cafe is just like a small blue house, which is my favorite colour. It is beside The PHO restaurant.

FOOD SET MENU

Japanese curry rice is their signature dish. There are also breakfast set menu and honey toast. If you go for breakfast, you can try their breakfast menu. Although I came here for dinner, mostly the customers ordered their big breakfast menu and honey toast. As for me, I ordered Beef Bowl Rice, Fish Katsu Curry, and Hamburg Steak Curry. All of these dishes are set with drink (choose between lemon tea/juice/milk tea).

Fish Katsu Curry (HKD 68, include drink)

I like the deep-fried fish (red snapper fish) since it does not have fishy smell. As for the rice, this is a Japanese rice. Chewy texture, me love it! However, I don’t like the curry’s taste since it is different with the authentic Japanese curry’s taste.

Hamburg Steak Curry (HKD 69, include drink)

The steak is good, tender, and beefy. The meat is also good if you add the curry. I think the taste of curry is more suitable with the beef meat rather than fish or chicken.

Beef Bowl Rice (HKD 58, include drink)

This one is most likely Japanese Beef Bowl Rice from Y*s*****a in Jakarta. However, the taste is not as good as the one in Jakarta. The beef has more fat rather than meat. Since I hate fat, I don’t like this beef bowl rice =(

Moreover, you can try this cafe since you will never get to try it in Indonesia. All of stores started with “Hokkaido” always sell cheese tart and desserts. In Hong Kong, you can try the breakfast menu, honey toast, and curry rice.

Pokemon Cafe at Kuala Lumpur

Pokemon Cafe Menu, Reviews, Photos, Location and Info - Zomato

DSCF2111-01.jpeg

Hello Food Lovers! I went to Malaysia for a short trip recently. Like usual, I always visit a place which is unique for me. Unintentionally, I went to Mid Valley Mall in Malaysia. I went shopping in Aeon Department Store where they sold Japanese stuffs. When I queued for paying my stuffs, I recognized that the cashier was in the Pokemon Cafe! The place was small behind the Stationary side. You could see the cafe from the entrance.

The cafe was just for 6 tables, each tables for 4 people. Quiet small corner. The good news is they sell both main course and dessert! The bad news is that they will close the cafe in the end of February 2017! So catch up before it ends =(

Here comes the foods!

My cute lunch

I ordered the Chicken Omelette Rice (namely Battle on Pikachu! Level-Up with Rare Candy) with Pikachu head as the Omurice. So cute and too good to be eaten ♥ I couldn’t help myself to not eating the Pikachu. The omeltte was like kue dadar (thin layer of egg to roll up the rice). Inside the Pikachu head was rice and chicken patty. The demi glace sauce was queit good with the smell of sweet BBQ sauce. The portion was quiet big for kids and enough for adults. The price was still affordable as comapred to any other kinds of similar character cafes in another country (see the Gudetama Cafe here ♥ ). The cute thing was they give candy besides the salad, related to the name of the dish.

For the Pikachu Smiling Rice Omelette, the head of Pikachu was yellow rice and the ears were made from omelette and seaweed. They gave volcano croquette inside the salad. The taste was so-so, but I think kids might like it since the Pikachu head was quiet big and they like the croquette with tomato sauce.

For the drink, I ordered Pikachu Latte (Hot). Surprisingly, the latte was not as bitter as coffee, more creamy-like taste, and milky. Maybe it was made like that so that kids could like it. Can’t help with the smiling face of Pikachu on top of the latte!

They also sell Pikachu Cheese Tart and Pikachu Pudding. Both of them are so cute ♥

They will give you Pokemon Angpao if you spend minimum RM 50!

Overall, I love this cafe since the cute dishes and drinks tasted good and the price was quiet affordable. The place was cozy and not crowded. Besides, you can enjoy your coffee break after going shopping. I wish I could come to this place again.
