Buat yang suka foto cantik ala OOTD, wajib banget dateng ke So Fashion Cafe di lantai 2 Mal Taman Anggrek. Sebenarnya udah buka dari awal 2018, tp gw baru sempet ke sini. Tempatnya cantik, didominasi warna putih dan pink sehingga bagus banget buat foto.

Tempatnya kecil, tp ada outdoor area di dalam mal nya (seberang cafenya) dan tempatnya ga kalah cantik. Ada boneka Pink Panther untuk di dalam cafe, sedangkan di outdoor ada boneka Teddy warna pink yg super besar. Gw demen banget sama dekor cafenya dan super nyaman buat nongkrong lama-lama.

FOOD & DRINKS

Passion olio prawn (69k)

Angel hair pasta dimasak jadi aglio olio dgn udang. Bisa pilih mau sedang atau pedas. Level sedangnya ga berasa pedas, ahnya peppery taste gitu. Buat yg suka pedas, cobain level pedasnya aja. Enak! Porsinya juga banyak. Gw kenyang bgt makan seporsi. Topping udangnya juga ada 7 pcs, cukup generous dgn harga segitu. must try!

Moods Marshmallow Mint Chocolate (43k)

My favorite drink! Chocomint nya enak dan manis (pdhl ud minya half sugar). Mintnya enak, berasa tp gak terlalu kuat. chocoaltenya juga enak. So instagramable and yummy! Must try!

Peach tea (45k)

Peach tea-nya disajikan di atas flamingo balloon. So cute! Peach teanya pake soda, jd seger gitu. Potongan buah peachnya juga besar dan ada 4 pcs. Seger!
Overall, gw nyaman makan di sini. Tempatnya bagus buat foto, pewe buat ngobrol, dan presentasi makanannya menarik. Rasanya juga ga kalah enak.

Hello beauty lovers! Kali ini gw berkesempatan mengikuti workshop ebrsama Adelle Jewellery yg collab dengan Magnolia Flower di Serpong. Lokasinya di deretan ruko Sumarecon Mal Serpong. Tempatnya kecil, terdiri dari 2 lantai. Lantai atasnya gudang, sedangkan lantai bawah untuk workshop dan flower market. Walaupun kecil, tempatnya peaceful bgt dan pas untuk workshop.

What we make

Tempatnya cantik, so warm, dan hanya bisa untuk 10-12 orang saja. Workshopnya start from 100k. Kami membuat kartu ucapan yg di depannya kami tempelkan buket bunga mini yg kami rancang sendiri. Pilihan bunganya banyak macam dan hampir semuanya import. Workshopnya bisa juga di luar flower housenya, misal berkumpul di suatu cafe minimum 8 orang. Nanti instructornya akan membawakan bunga-bunga untuk workshopnya. Workshopnya bisa berupa membuat buket bunga besar, kartu ucapan, ataupun wax. Seru banget loh! Harganya juga terjangkau.

Untuk tehnya, gw pilih Honey Berry Sweet yg harum buah dan bunga, rasanya juga manis dan sedikiiitt asam. A perfect combination! Di sini tidak menjual makanan, hanya organic tea dari herbs dan flower saja. Namun, kamu boleh membawa makanan dari luar ya.

Magnolia Dried Flower

The Garden, PIK

Hello food lovers! Finally, I can have my lunch time at The Garden, PIK. Since it is so hype on Social Meadia with its beautiful decoration for OOTD spot, The Garden has become one of must-visit places in Jakarta. The concept is similar with Onni House which has a small ‘garden’ area for OOTD spot inside the cafe. You must go in the morning to avoid the long waiting list. Once you enter the cafe, you have unlimited time to sit there and taking pictures. There is no rule that you have to leave in a period of time. You cannot do any reservation, only on-the-spot. So, if you want to celebrate anything in The Garden, make sure you come very early in the morning to have a seat.

The place is not so big, quite spacious, and at the back side on the 1st floor, there is a perfect spot for photoshoot. Actually, every areas in this cafe are instagramable. The dining area is only on the 1st, while the 2nd floor is still not yet opened for public.

These are the instagramable spots for doing your hobby: Photography! Prepare your best camera and outfit as well as PATIENT! There are lots of people Q-ing in every spots 🙂

Creamy Chicken Truffle Dumpling (75k)

My most favorite dish! Too creamy actually, but the truffle is so good! There are 4 pcs of chicken dumplings. The creamy sauce is perfectly combined with the truffle to become a delicious dish for your appetizer.

Wonton Bulgogi Taco (90k)

Consists of 4 pcs of fried wonton skin filled with minced beef. The taste is good and the wonton is so crispy. A combination of Chinese and Mexican food.

Panna Cotta Es Kelapa Muda (55k)

This is a must-try dessert in The Garden. The presentation is sweet and pinky. The texture is soft and not as fragile as I eat in other cafes. The fresh coconut ice is sweet and tasty. Must-try!

She’s Slice of Heaven/Mille Crepe (60k)

There are 2 selections of sauce : Taro or Milo. Since I love chocolate taste, I choose the latter. The crepe is creamy, but not too sweet. I can finish it all by myself and the taste is not overwhelmed. Yummy!

Overall, The Garden offers you a fancy place for photoshoot with selections of tasty yet pricey foods and drinks. For me, the dishes that I chose are quite good. I did not try any other foods there. The service is quite good, but you have to wait your food for 15-25 minutes. Enjoy!

How to Elevate Your Chinese-look-alike Dress into The Next Level

Hello fashionista! I went to Hong Kong for my short holiday and I wanna share you about my outfit look. Since Hong Kong is a country in Asia, it is suitable to wear cheongsam, Chinese printed top/dress. However, too Chinese is so old-fashioned. I will give you some tips to make your Chinese-look outfit into more fashionable. Honestly, I am not a fashionista, but I do like mix & match my clothes to make them look new.

I will give you 2 looks with 2 different Chinese outfit. I hope you like them =)

My first look is come form Stand For Women (IG: @standforwomen) Xiu Top. I love the top ♥ because this top is so pretty, silky, comfy to wear on, and light! The fabric is good, silky-like, and the crane-printed top will make you look a Chinese princess. I wear this top with Escarpat pants to make look stylish, but not too much. You can wear pump shoes, sneakers, or wedges. For me, I choose to wear canvas shoes so that I can strolling around Hong Kong in ease. Choose a pair of shoes that are fit and comfy for you while you are traveling.

My second look comes from Minimal Store (IG: @minimalstores) : Pearl Rose Dress. This dress is so beautiful, elegant, and feminine, suitable for evening party. I want to make this pretty dress into something different. If you just wear the dress, somehow it looks like a modern mini cheongsam. To make it into fashionable look, you can wear beret hat (a hat for winter, usually made from wool). I wear lace outer from Miss Sixty to make it look chic and fresh. Tugu Kunstkring Paleis- CNY 2018 Luncheon

Welcome to Chinese New Year Luncheon held by Adelle Jewellery! Amazing lunch with all the girls, especially in this beautiful place. The restaurant is still under 10 year of age, but the building is already there hundred years ago, very historical. It was a gallery building during Dutch era in Indonesia and many historical stories happened in this place. You may ask the employees in the restaurant about the history of the building. Sounds interesting!

When I enter the place, I see a beautiful dining area, decorative arts of Indies, ‘aristocracy’ touch, with beautiful chandeliers, and old paintings. Okay, this is one of my most favorite fine dining restaurant since I love classical, unique, and beautiful place. Super love! There are many antique stuffs for the decoration.

When you go on the left side, you can see an oriental decoration area, lanterns on the ceiling, and a small bar. Then, on the right side of the dining area, you will find the artsy gallery. I like this gallery since there are many oriental-antique stuffs decorated the gallery.

Back to the main dining area, the dim light makes the place a little bit creepy at noon. If you like scary stories, then you must come to this restaurant in the evening. There will be a story telling about scary things happened in this place. Wow! For me, this is the right place to celebrate Chinese New Year, related to the decoration and ambient of this place. So peaceful and suitable for celebrating events. If you like to take many OOTD photos with elegant-glamorous-like, then this place can be added to your destination.

The restaurant gives us some choices of main course foods and drinks :

Kluwak Spare Ribs in Spicy Tamarind Gravy

This is must-try dish for Chinese New Year’s Eve reuinion. So perfect! The beef ribs are cooked in kluwak and another spices. The meat is tender, boiled, and meaty. Yummy!

Nasi Lemak Kunstkring

The rice looks small with many small dishes. The small ‘nasi lemak’ is accompanied by black baby squid, fried chicken wings, dried shrimps, crispy river baby fish, omelette, kangkung belachan, and pickles. Good taste, but not addicted.

Kway Teow Seafood Balacan

The presentation was good in which the fried kway teow is placed in the middle, while the oyster, shrimp crackers, and pickles are placed around the kway teow. The kway teow was very chewy (rubbery) and hard to swallow. The taste is actually good, oriental-taste.

Kunstkring Kluwak Fried Rice with Oxtail

It’s just a fried rice, cooked with kluwak gravy and topped with shrimps and bean sprouts. The taste is fine, but not as good as I thought.

Hot Japanese Green Tea

A perfect drink after eating the oily dishes. So calming.

Overall, with the so-so taste, I think this place is pricey. The place is awesome, but the selected set menu is not as good as I expected. However, many people like the foods served and maybe you can try another menu. I would like to go to this place again to try out another menu which are recommended by my friends.

WISHING ALL OF YOU A BLESSING YEAR AHEAD AND BE MORE SUCCESSFUL!

I hope that I could be more positive in this year, be more grateful with what I have and receive as well as giving more than receiving. I just want to be happier and the others could feel the same way. For me, 2017 is a rough year to be a food blogger and I hope I can expand my blog not only about food, but also fashion, travel, photography, and beauty. As a woman, I could not deny myself that I really into fashion and beauty. Sometimes, I wish I could had more time to do different kind of makeup styles.

To start a new year, I went to Bogor for my short escape. Just to refresh my mind out of my heavy work and to think about my resolutions in 2018. I don’t want to just make the resolution, but I want to make them all happen, especially about photography. I did not realize that I love photography! Perhaps, photography tips on my blog? :p

Here are my travel outfit in Bogor. Hope you like my simple outfit 🙂

P.S: Sorry if you don’t like to see myself wearing a pair of sandals. For me, comfortable is No.1! In Bogor, you cannot predict when the rain comes. One day, suddenly the rain comes when we were in a small forest. If I wore wedges/high heels, I could get myself into a mess.

Tips: wearing your best sneakers, flat shoes, or just flippers in traveling. They are your best friends. You could find the pretty slippers in THIS IS APRIL or BERRYBENKA. They sell good leather slippers and comfy shoes with such affordable price 🙂

Lewis & Carroll Tea, Thamrin

Hello high tea lovers! I was invited to attend a Royal High Tea, held by the popular jewellery brand : Adelle Jewellery. Lewis & Carroll Tea Flower Market is located inside the Central Dept. Store, near the Crystal Jade Resto. You can spot easily with all the beautiful flowers in front of the cafe.

The place is not so big, but I like the simple-minimalist design. The place is beautifully decorated with the flowers. A good place for phostoshoot of course.

We ordered some of the new menus from Lewis & Carroll Tea for the Royal High Tea Party.

Mad Tea Party (185k)

It consists of 6 pieces of mochi with 3 flavours : chocolate, matcha, and black sesame. I love the matcha. For me, the sesame taste is too strong for mochi. This set is served with 2 kinds of tea.

Panna Cotta (depends on The Flavour)

There are 3 flavours on my plate : vanilla bean, matcha, and nutella. For me, the matcha and nutella are the best. The authentic matcha taste can be detected. The nutella panna cotta is also good and not too sweet, but after you eat one piece of this flavor, you will get full.

Japanese Salad (55k)

Mixed of fresh vegetables, including wakame on top with sour apple dressing. It is tasty and fresh! It neutralizes all the sweet tastes from the dessert.

Truffle fries (50k)

All fries lovers will love this! The fries are crispy and seasoned well, especially with the truffle. So yummy!

Bruschetta Beef (65k)

The bruschetta is good with lots of beef and melted cheese on top.the bolognaise beef is quite good.

Potato Skin with Guacamole (45k)

The baked potato with skin is filled with broccoli and mayo, completed with half-boiled egg and melted cheese on top. So tasty!

Tea Omakase (80k)

The tea selection on Tea Omakase are Houjicha (green tea), Island Cordial (mango, pineapple), Red Ruby Skies (elderberries, hibiscus), Happy Summer Day (peach, mint), and Snow Owl (silver needle white tea) . I love the Red Ruby Skies, judging from the aroma and taste. Fruity and floral notes. All of the tea is served cold.

Overall, the place is good for hangout and high tea event. We really enjoyed our tea time there. All of foods and drinks are quite good. However, the service is not so good. Maybe due to the full tables when we held the party there. needs to improve their service. The price is a little bit pricey, but still reasonable.

Hello fashion lovers! I just want to share about my fashion tips with simple outfit. You don’t have to wear skirt just to be fashionable and chic. Skirt will make you girly and feminine, depending of the model you wear. However, not of you like to wear skirt. So, I want to tell you tips of how to look sophisticated with simple outfit.

Wearing Outer

Outer will make you look more elegant and sophisticated without being to much. You can wear your favorite top with culotte pants and complete your look with the best outer.

You don’t have to buy the expensive one, just buy the comfiest pants via online shops. There are so many choices of pants. Tips: do not wear printed pants if you have ‘chubby’ legs. It will make your legs even bigger.

Tips: choose monochrome colour for your dress and jumpsuit for classic look. Printed dress will make you look bigger, but for skinny-type of body, you are allowed to wear more bright and bold colours.

High Heels To Wrap Up Your Look

For me, wearing high heels is a must! I’m not tall and I need my heels to cover up my height on my photos. If you don’t like wearing stilletos, then you can go for wefges. Wedges are comfier than any type of heels. This is my favorite wedges from Schutz Shoes. You will never go wrong with this pair of heels! So comfy and you can wear them for a whole day.
