Stribe, Kelapa Gading

Hello food lovers! Weekend tuh ga pernah puas kalo ga ke cafe hits yg makanannya enak dan tempatnya bagus buat OOTD. Di Kelapa Gading, ada Stribe buat kamu yg demen makan sambil hangout buat OOTD. Lokasinya sederetan dgn Monks dan Eat Boss. Tempatnya tidak terlalu besar, terdiri dari 2 lantai. Yg bagus utk OOTD adalah lantai 1, sedangkan lantai 2nya untuk smoking area dan non-smoking area tp agak gelap dan kurang bgs utk OOTD.

FOOD & DRINKS

Untuk minuman dan dessertnya, banyak yg instagrambale, tp gw review yg menurutku OK ya.

Dragon’s Saliva (45k)

isinya campuran buah naga merah, susu, dan sedikit lemon. manis, agak asem, dan blendid gt. So fresh!

Affogato (35k)

Seperti affogato di cafe lain, ice blend avocado sm susu dan disirem espresso. Enak! Manisnya pas, kopinya ga terlalu pahit, dan pas bgt diminum sama ice cream vanilla.

Mocha (38k)

Ice blend kopi susu dgn aroma mocha. Creamy, sweet, melted di lidah. Buat yg suka mocha, yuks dicoba.

Tipsy Hot Cake

Pancake kecil isi 2 panas2 dimakan sama es krim vanilla dan mini Magnum bersamaan. So Yummy! Must try! Presentasinya juga cantik.

Untuk makanannya, aku review yg menurut gw cukup enak ya.

Baked Rice with Hamburg Steak (75k)

Hamburg steaknya enak, empuk, beefy, meaty. Nasinya dikasih bechamel dan brown sauce yg manis gurih. Ada mayo juga dan menurut gw mayo nya merusak rasa. Jadi, agak aneh rasanya. Mungkin krn gw ga suka mayo ya, tapi kalo mayo-nya ditake-out sih enak.

Harvest Bowl (68k)

Toppingnya banyak macem dan bisa pake pork or beef sausge yg digoreng. Makannya diaduk semua macem poke bowl. Enak sih dan ga bikin eneg. Seger malah krn ada sayurannya. Konsepnya healthy, but yummy.

Stribe’s Egg Benedict (68k)

Cocok buat brunch krn mengenyangkan. Gw suka smoked salmonnya ga terlalu smoked aromanya dan bumbunya pas. Toastnya agak keras sih dipotong, mungkin kurang panas.

Classic Caesar Salad (60k)

Saladnya enak! Asin, gurih, cheesy dan ga eneg. Gw bisa habisin saladnya seporsi terus makan main course lainnya. Buat gw sih light ya, jadi bisa habis seporsi dan emang enak.

Overall, F&B di Stribe cukup enak dan cantik buat di foto. Tempatnya bagus buat foto karena terang. Harganay standard cafe cantik. Servicenya juga cukup cepat. a perfect place to spend your weekend

Lee Palace, Harmoni Exchange, Hayam Wuruk

Hello food lovers! Got back to Lee Palace again with some of my friends since the dimsum dishes are so cute! From the latest visit, I just tried some dishes and it was so crowded! So, I decided to do a reservation for this visit. On weekends, Lee Palace has several sessions and each for 2 hours. You just have 2 hours starting from 10 AM. Better to do reservation 3 days prior your visit.

Located on the 3rd floor of Harmoni Exchange (HXC) Mall, the place was quite big and they have VIP rooms too. However, I don’t know the minimum spending for VIP room. If you want to have good photos like mine, you can ask them to give you the table besides the front window.

Let’s go to the dim sums! Note: dim sums are available from 10AM – 5 PM (10.00-17.00 WIB). One portion of all dim sums consist of 3 pieces.

All prices written here are exclude 10% PPN and 6% Service Charge.

Minion salted egg pao (19.8k)

This is the cutest buns so far! The salted egg filling tastes good; sweet and melted in your mouth. Recommended for photo shoot.

Doggy-style spring rolls (18.8k)

The spring rolls filled with vegetable, but they make the spring rolls in dog shape. For me, the taste is so-so.

Ham Sui Kok in Elephant Shape (17.8k)

The fried glutinous filled with chicken is shaped into elephant’s head. So cute! The taste is also good.

Siomay hisit (18.8k)

The siomay is so-so, not tasty enough as compared to the other siomay from the other restaurants.

Steamed Hakao with Lychee and Shrimp (18.8k)

The hakau has fushia (dark pink) colour, filled with shrimp as small pieces of lychee. The skin is too thick and the taste is so-so.

Chasiu pao (17.8k)

The pork buns are not decorated into cute shapes and the taste is not so good. Too plain.

Seafood chong fan (19.8k)

The chong fan is tasty and the skin is not too thick. Try it!

Three-flavored egg tarts(16.8k)

The egg tart’s custards are chocolate, matcha, and original. The Original and Matcha are quite good, but the Chocolate is tasteless.

Fried Puff in Swan (19.8k)

This is good. The puff is so crispy and the filling is tasty! The puff is filled with sorted of vegetables.

Deep-fried Pumpkin Puff Roll (18.8k)

The presentation is so cute! The pumpkin cake is fried and shaped into pumpkin. The filling is sweet-savoury chicken pieces. Must try!

Deep-fried Sesame Balls with Green Tea Skin (19.8k)

The glutinous balls are filled with green tea custard and fried. The balls are soft in the inside and crispy at the outside. The custard is not too sweet and tasted good. So yummy!

Deep-fried Minced Black Mushroom and Chicken Buns (18.8k)

The shape is just like big Shitake mushrooms! So cute! The buns are filled with sweet chicken and mushrooms pieces. Quite good.

Overall, the dim sums have eye-catching and cute presentation. However, the taste is so-so. The price is quite affordable as compared to any other restaurants. The restaurant’s service is slow and not fast enough to serve all of the food and drinks on time. Maybe because of the crowd. to sum up, bad service, moderate taste o food, but eye-catching presentation.

Elmakko Coffee, Sunter

Hello food lovers! After renovation, Elmakko has expanded the cafe into bigger space, consists of 3 areas: The Cafe, The Play Room, and The Private Cafe area (not a private one but the space is smaller and suitable for a group discussion).

For you who like to play Nintendo, this cafe has Nintendo Snes that you can play with your friends (only 2 persons). You can play as long as you want if you buy the foods and drinks.

The place is not too big, but homey and super cozy in the afternoon. At the evening, the cafe is usually full capacity and too crowded. I suggest you to come in the morning or afternoon before 6 pm to enjoy the game and the foods.

For the design, it’s simple, white-dominant, minimalist, and of course, it’s a good place for food photography! The decoration is cute where the toys are placed in a small shelf in the cafe near the cashier. I spend hours in this cafe with my friends, playing and eating and drinking

FOOD & DRINKS

Makko Fries (25k)

This is for snack or appetizer. The mexican spices blend well with the french fries. It’s super tasty! The fries are crispy and soft. The seasoning is soooo good! Must try!

Makko Pop Chicken (Regular: 30k; Party size: 50k)

The deep fried chicken pieces are small-bite size and served with the mayo sauce. It’s tasty and suitable for snacking while palying Nintendo.

Chicken Fajitas Rice (35k)

Recommended! The butter rice is super tasty. The chicken is grilled with the mexican spice. The portion is quite small, but I love the rice

Chicken Salted Egg (35k)

This is also good. The salted egg is tasty, salty, and bold. This is also good for you who like salted egg.

Makko Chicken Rice (35k)

The chicken katsu and rice are quite few. Looks like it’s small, but actually it can fulfill your hunger. I like the crispness of the chicken katsu. Yummy!

Glazed Chicken with Melted Cheese (NEW)

The chicken pieces are quite few and served with mayo and melted cheese on top of them. Tasty! I like this chicken pieces more than any other menu.

Red Velvet Latte (30k)

This is my recommendation! I really like the taste of bold taste of dark chocolate with the red velvet flavor. It’s not as sweet as any other latte in other coffee shops. Must try!

Cappucino (25k)

I am not a fan of coffee, but the cappucino is quite good with the a hint of milky-creamy taste from the creamer and milk.

Overall, I like the food and the red velvet latte in this cafe. The place is cozy and quite interesting for me since I have not been to a cafe with Nintendo. The price is standard like any other coffee shops. The service is quite good.

Kibo Cheese

Hello cheese lovers! Kali ini gw dapet kiriman cheese cake (mini size) yang lagi hits di Jakarta, yaitu Kibo! Yg bikin special dari cheese cake ini adalah isinya. Ada berbagai macam : Original (melted cheese), Choco cheese, Matcha, Salted Egg, dan Mango. Pas kalian potong cakenya, isinya langsung meleleh gitu. So yummy!

Terdapat beberapa cara penyajian untuk flavor tertentu biar makin pol rasanya :
1. Matcha & Salted Egg
Cheese cakenya di-microwave dulu selama 10-20 detik saja biar isinya melted. Apalagi yg salted egg, enak banget dimakan pas melted
Kalo males di-microwave, kamu bisa diamkan cheese cakenya di suhu ruang selama 30 menit biar melted secara perlahan.
2. Original & Choco Cheese
Untuk kedua flavor ini, kamu bisa makan dingin-dingin (disimpan di kulkas) atau dibiarkan di suhu ruang selama 30 menit (nanti akan melted sendiri) tanpa perlu dimicrowave.
3. Mango
Best served in chilled condition. Cukup dimasukkan ke kulkas. Pas udah dingin, langsung deh disantap. Yummy!

Gw dapet kiriman 4 flavor nih : Original, Salted Egg, Choco Cheese, dan Mango. Semua size Mini ya.

Original (30k)

Isinya melted cheese yg enak dan ga eneg menurut gw. Not too strong, not fermented yet, but the taste is good! Enak kok!

Choco Cheese (35k)

Buat yg kurang suka cheese, kamu bisa cobain choco cheese. cokalt nya mild, tetep balance dengan cheesenya. Gw suka banget sama coklat dan gw merasa kurang strong coklatnya, tetep cheese yg jadi pahlawannya.

Salted Egg (35k)

Ini salah satu favorit gw. Telor asinnya cremay, andy texture, dan masih berasa gritty pieces dari telor asinnya. Enak! Asin gurih manis jadi satu.

Mango (35k)

Ini dia flavor terbarunya Kibo. Mangonya mayan banyak di dasar cakenya, Manis asem seger. Me like it

Overall, gw udah 3 kali beli di Kibo (ga termasuk endorse ya) dan belum pernah kecewa. Cakenya selalu enak, fresh from the oven. Ingredientnya pasti yang bagus dong. Untuk harga, masih affordable kok. Kalo kamu beli 4, nanti ada potongan harga. Buat yang belum nyobain, yuk buruan dicoba!
