Hello coffee lovers! There is a hidden gem inside the Taman Budaya Sentul City, across the BCA Learning Centre. Popolo Coffee has 2 locations: Sentul and Bogor. I prefer to go to the former one since I saw in the instagram that the place is unique. It is like a glass-house in a wood. Such a beautiful place for photoshoot. The outside area is for smoking, whilst the indoor area is for non-smoking area.
When I arrived at the glass house, there were so many people sitting there, taking pictures, and just taking a sip of coffee. Luckily, I got a small table in front of the coffee bar. For me, I was a bit disappointed since the place is not as spacious as seen on instagram. Moreover, the place was crowded although on weekday.
Indoor area
Outdoor area
I admit that the place is simple, minimalist, monochromatic, and beautiful. I spent much time taking some pictures there.
Coffee bar
OOTD spot
I ordered a glass of matcha latte and the barista said that they could make any pictures that you want. I asked him to make a rabbit. Voila! A small blurred rabbit appeared on my matcha latte. Not as good as I expected
Matcha Latte
My friend said that the coffee was good, but I’m not a coffee lover. Hence, I did not try the coffee. Maybe you could visit this place and tell me what do you like from the food and coffee from Popolo?
Overall, Popolo Coffee offers you a beautiful and cozy place to hang out with your friends. You could spend hours there taking pictures or doing some work there. Oh yeah, you could also do colouring on a piece of paper and post it on instagram! Happy coffee guys!

Hello travelers! Have you heard about Chinatown Bandung? It is recently opened on 4th August 2017. Located at Jalan Klenteng No. 41 (near Waringin School), Chinatown has been popular as the hype destination in Bandung. On 17th of August, the Chinatown is officially opened by the local government.
The Chinatown is easily spotted from the Chinese design of the building. You must pay for the entrance fee (information is below) and get 1 small bottle of mineral water. You can take a picture on the paintings before you enter the building.
The Entrance Door
When you enter the door, you can directly turn left to get in a small room with lots of oriental stuffs and a history of the Chinatown in Bandung. The ornament and design are very good and unique as if you are traveling in the ancient Chinese era.
The History
The Old Chinese-style ornaments
Like any other chinatown places, there are many colourful lanterns. You can taking pictures in the afternoon or in the evening when all the lanterns are turned on. Very beautiful!
The View in the Afternoon
The Night View

You must go up to a house to take some OOTD photos or just taking pictures of the beautiful view. There is also a red bridge at the center of the building which is so Chinese-style and instagram-able.

Inside the Souvenir’s Store
There are many souvenir stores at the right side of the building. Starting from Batik, kitchen tools, souvenirs, and also snacks. All of the stores are well-designed like in old Chinese era. You can also taking pictures at the ‘living room’ with jadoel-style home decor.

For the food, all foods are HALAL. So, don’t worry 🙂
The Street Foods
Nasi Rames and Nasi Padang
Tahu Gejrot
The foods are mostly Indonesian street food, such as Es Dung Dung, Es Alpukat, Soto Ayam, Gado-Gado, Ketoprak, Nasi Goreng, Batagor, Tahu Baso, Baso Kuah, and fresh fruits. The price is ranged from IDR 10.000 to IDR 50.000/dish. I like the Baso Goreng and Nasi Lengko (traditional food from Cirebon).
Baso Goreng
Nasi Lengko
For the Soto Lamongan, it is too salty. Actually, the seasoning is quite tasty, soupy, long-boiled, and meaty. However, since it is too salty, I could not enjoy the soto 😦
Soto Lamongan
The Tahu Baso is more likely siomay in Jakarta. The taste is so-so and the peanut sauce is too spicy. If you cannot eat spicy food, better to avoid this.
Tahu Baso Bandung
All foods in Chinatown must be paid via Debit Card or Flazz BCA. No cash or credit card. This is the food court in Chinatown Bandung. Very beautiful, isn’t it? Old-fashioned, but so cool!

Please Please Please has been popular through Instagram recently. When I have a chance to go to Bandung, I purposely visit this instagramable cafe at Jl. Progo. Looking from the outside, the place is dominated by pink colour with pink owl as the logo. The two-story cafe is quite big and spacious. The interior is cute and pinky. The 1st floor is non-smoking area and the 2nd floor is smoking area. The sunlight is better at the backside of the 1st floor and near the entrance door.

At the right side, there is a small bakery selling the cakes. I don’t see any interesting cake, so I did not order anything. I just interested with the bottle of tea leaves on the table.

Bakery
I come here in the morning for breakfast and I don’t know that you can order ONLY for breakfast menu. Sadly, I must order the western food for my breakfast (I like Asian food for my breakfast).
Here are the breakfast menus that I ordered.
Breakfast menu
Smoke Beef Sandwich (59k)
Smoked Beef Sandwich
Turns out to be my favorite breakfast menu in Please Please Please. Never thought that chiabatta bread is this fluffy and quite big! The creamy mushroom is delicious and perfectly cooked with the garlic and onion. The portion is big enough to fulfill your hunger in the morning. However, nothing special with this menu.
Fish and Chips (45k)
Fish and Chips
This menu is for appetizer and you can order it as your breakfast. Turns out the portion is big enough for 2-3 persons. The fish is good and I like the onion rings. Unfortunately, the potato wedges are salty. So, you must eat them with the sour cream to balance the taste.
Hot lemon tea (25k)
Hot Lemon Tea
Since I eat fatty foods, I prefer to drink hot tea with lemon. The sour and fresh tea is good for burning out the fat in your body. The teapot is quite big for me, though.
Overall, this place is more likely selling the beautiful place rather than selling the foods. The price is affordable, the place is beautiful and cozy, but the food is not as good as you think. The service is good and fast. I recommend this place for hangout in the afternoon rather than having breakfast or lunch. FYI, the toilet is unisex and not so clean.

Hello food lovers!
Karo No.20 Medan.

Gulai Kepala Ikan Kakap

Lokasinya berada di seberang Tjong A Fie mansion.

Nelayan Mie Jaring
Address: Jl. Kh. Zainul Arifin No.7, Madras Hulu, Medan Polonia, Kota Medan, Sumatera Utara 20152
Buat pecinta durian, kamu wajib coba Ucok Durian.

Selamat kuliner!

White is associated with light, goodness, innocence, purity, and virginity. It is considered to be the color of perfection. White means safety, purity, and cleanliness. As opposed to black, white usually has a positive connotation. White can represent a successful beginning.
Wearing a white outfit can elevate your look to the next level. You can also wearing white as the basic color to do mix & match for your look. However, some people think that wearing white outfit will make you look boring, pale, and very simple. I think the simplicity of white can radiate your own inner beauty.
Wearing white with black is perfect! Monochrome outfit is perfect for casual, semi-formal, and also formal looks. During the photoshoot, I wear this Melanie Jumpsuit (Melanie Trump did wear this jumpsuit!). Stealing her look in this beautiful place, why not?
However, wearing white in a wedding party is a BIG NO! It is not good to compete with the bride. You may wear white outfit for dating, birthday party, or any other events. White T-shirt can also be mixed with any other colour to increase your look.
So, will you add white to your wardrobe? ♥

Tim Ho Wan is a popular chinese restaurant, specialty in dim sum. Tim Ho Wan has been so famous in Hong Kong, Singapore, and also Indonesia. Originally came from Hong Kong, Tim Ho Wan now has 45 locations around Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Singapore, the Philippines, Australia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and the United States.
I visited the one in Malaysia, more precisely at Mid Valley Mall. The restaurant is located at the outside of the mall, across the Starbucks. It is a two-story building, but customers are usually sit on the 1st floor. The place is spacious, chinese-type design, and minimalist. The ambience is good and suitbale for breakfast to lunch.
The menu is slightly different with the one in Indonesia. They have pork la mian menus and some other new menus. I only try the pork la mian for the new menu. The dim sum menu is the same with the one in Indonesia.
Pork La Mian
Dim Sum and Rice
We tried the hakao, veggie hakao, siomay, charsiu pao, chong fan, and the infamous pork buns. I love the pork buns. The buns are crispy and sweet on the crust, but very soft in the inside.
The steamed rice with pork sausage and mushroom is also famous. Eat it with the sweet salty sauce, special from Tim Ho Wan. The aroma is so tempting and the taste is so delicious!

Steamed Rice with Pork Sausage and Mushroom
Chong Fan (Pork)
Fried Shrimp Dumplings
Hakao
Pork Siomay
The wonton noodle is also good! The wonton is yummy, full of shrimp, and tasted good. The noodle is thin, rope-like shape, and actually a Hong Kong-style noodle. this is what I like the most!
Actually, I only like the pork buns and the wonton noodle. For the rest of the dim sums, I think they are so-so, like any other dim sums from other Chinese restaurants. Overall, the place is good, the foods are quiet tasty, although they are pricey for just dim sums. If you don’t know where to eat in Mid Valley, you can just go to Tim Ho Wan for their dim sums!

Tokyo Secret is selling Japanese Hanjuku Cheese Tart (or Half Baked Cheese Tart) made by high quality cheese imported directly from Japan. The company is originated from Hong Kong. In Indonesia, Tokyo Secret has not yet opened. Hopefully, they will open their outlet in Jakarta ♥
I visited the biggest outlet in 1 Utama Mall, Damansara. The outlet in 1 Utama sells only Hanjuku Cheese Tarts! There are 4 Flavors available :-Hanjuku Cheese Tart (Original flavor), Matcha Hanjuku Cheese Tart, Hazelnut Hanjuku Cheese Tart & Coffee Hanjuku Cheese Tart. Actually, there is the Strawberry flavor in another outlet.
The store is quiet big and has some chairs besides the cashier and kitchen. The concept is a minimalist cafe. After you buy the tarts, you can directly consume them whilst they are still warm!
Freshly baked and hot from oven! There are 4 ways to enjoy the unique taste of cheese tart:
1. Consume right after it was baked under room temperature!
2. Refrigerated it, and it will taste like you are eating cheese cake
3. Freeze it in freezer, and it will turn into a tasty ice-cream
4. Lastly, reheating it with a toasters will once again, bringing back the crunchy crust and melting cheesy texture.
Cheese Tart
For me, the crust s so crispy, buttery, and combined perfectly with the creamy cheese inside the tart. The custard tasted milky, creamy, sweet, and rich of cheese! So tasty!
Chocolate Hazelnut Tart
The chocolate cream cheese filling is flowing down slowly too after one bite. Those crunchy toasted hazelnut bits that sprinkle on top goes very well with the creamy chocolate cheese filling. The chocolate crust is crispy just like the original flavor. The hazelnut is more pricey than the Original Cheese Tart, but i love it! Really love both hazelnut’s aroma and the taste as well.
Matcha Cheese Tart
This one is unique! The taste is like the authentic matcha powder from Japan. Inside the cream cheese, there is red bean and mochi. So, when you eat it, you will taste the creamy of the cheese cream, the sweet taste of red bean (azuki), and the fluffy texture of the mochi. Perfect!
Overall, Tokyo Secret offers you a high quality cheese tarts to the next level. The tart is bigger than the competitors and the price is more expensive. Pricey, but worth it! This is my most favorite cheese tart ♥

Hello foodies! During this festive season, Mc Donald’s Malaysia has launched a new flavor for ice cream, which is CENDOL! Such a unique flavor for an ice cream, right?
Cendol is a traditional dessert from Southeast Asia : such as : Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Cambodia,East Timor, Vietnam, Thailand and Burma. Cendol is a snack made from rice flour and other ingredients, formed by filters, then mixed with palm sugar and coconut milk (for beverage) (Wikipedia, 2017). The cendol is consumed with coconut milk and palm sugar syrup with ice crystals. The taste is sweet, creamy, and addicted!
For me, Mc Donald’s is so creative to launch this new flavor during festive. You can eat the ice cream for break fasting for your dessert. The taste is dominated by the palm sugar taste and coconut milk’s mouthfeel. The green-colored cone is actually referred to the cendol.
Overall, the taste is not as good as I thought before. Perhaps, more likely you eat the coconut soup of the cendol. However, I appreciate the idea of combining traditional food with western-style dessert. Let’s try the ice cream!

Uncle Tetsu’s cheese cake is very soft, sweet, and savoury; a perfect combination of cream cheese and high quality butter. Besides the cheese cakes, there are cheese tarts and madelines (new).
In Malaysia, there are 2 outlets : Pavilion Mall and Mid Valley Mall. I went to the one in Pavilion Mall, located on the Basement Floor. The store is small, near the escalator. I bought the cheese tarts and madelines since I had tried the cheese cake in Jakarta.
The cheese tart is good! The tart is crunchy, very light, soft, and less sweet. The cream cheese is also less sweet and delicious! Slightly salty, savoury, but creamy and buttery tasted. You can eat more than one cheese tarts and never get too much.
The madelines are actually muffins. There are 4 flavors: Early Grey, Matcha, Chocolate, and Honey. Actually, the texture is not as fluffy as I thought. It’s full, un-fluffy (bantat), and less sweet. Seems like eating brownies. I don’t like the madelines, except the chocolate flavor.
Overall, two thumbs up for Uncle Tetsu! The cheese cake is very good, as well as the cheese tarts. For the madelines, they need some improvement in the dough and the flavor taste. Heading up to Uncle Tetsu now!
