Hello food lovers! Kali ini gw mau sharing tentang chicken karaage favorite gw dan keluarga gw tentunya! Karena selama pandemi seringnya di rumah aja, jadinya gw lebih suka masak sendiri di rumah. Nah, kalo lagi pengen cemilan atau perlu lauk yg crunchy, gw pilih SunnyGold Karaage Pedas. Udah hampir setahun nih gw konsumsi produk-produk SunnyGold dan so far, gw suka dengan produknya yang crunchy dan juicy!

Karena gw suka banget sama makanan pedas, gw lebih sering beli SunnyGold Karaage Pedas yang pedasnya nampol! Bikin gw ketagihan. Mulai dari rasanya yang lezat, dagingnya juicy, tepungnya crispy, dan kemasannya higienis. Weekend Getaway at Atria Hotel, Serpong

I spent my last weekend at Atria Serpong Hotel. Thank you for inviting me. I am so happy to review the hotel’s room and restaurants. I hope my review can help you to choose the right hotel to stay at Serpong.

LOCATION

It’s a 4-star hotel located in Gading Serpong, Tangerang next to Summarecon Mall Serpong (SMS). At the backside of the hotel, there are many food stores and cafes selling varities of foods and drinks. This hotel is located at strategic location with easy access to go everywhere. You can also go to Atria Hotel via SMS’ shuttle bus.

THE ROOM

I stayed in Suite Room with large King-size bed, 42-inch LED TV, a living room, and a spacious bathroom. The room is very good and the service is excellent. They are fast in providing the customers’ needs. The decoration is simple, minimalist, and dominated with bright colour. You can see the street and SMS via the window. The bathroom is also spacious with both bath tub and shower. There is also an iron for your clothes.

THE RESTAURANT

I had my breakfast and dinner at Mezzanine Restaurant at Mezzanine (M) floor. The food is mostly filled by Indonesian Food and the taste is delicious. You can find more varieties of food on breakfast as compared to Dinner.

It’s a buffet concept. You can find Kue Cubit freshly made by the cooks; Tom Yum Soup, Mie Kuah, Nasi Kecombrang, Pecel, Bubur Ayam, Bubur Kacang Ijo, and many more. Bread, fried eggs, and cakes are available on the table. I like the taste because the foods are rich in spices and especially Nasi Kecombrang. Must try!

DINNER

There are 2 concepts : a la carte or buffet. I choose buffet because I like to choose whatever I want to eat. There are Soto Ayam (so tasty), Mie Godog Jawa, Es Cendol, Nasi Liwet, and Wedang Jahe. Salad and fruit pieces are available both on breakfast and dinner.

Their special menu is Nasi Besek Atria. It consists of Nasi Kecombrang, Ayam Rica, Buntut Balado, Oseng toge kucai, and Ikan jambal. The rice is flavorful and smell quite strong. It tastes good. The balado and rica tasted so spicy. The ikan jambal pieces tated good and suitable to eat it with warm Kecombrang Rice. My favorite!

The special drink they gave me to try is Atria Blush, freshly made from the blend of blueberry fruits, blueberry jam, vanilla ice cream, and yoghurt. Sweet and creamy, but not sour. So fresh! You must try because the blueberry fruits are fresh.

Overall, I like the room and foods provided in Hotel Atria Serpong. The room is very good, the service is good, and their Indonesia food is the best. Rich of taste and spices. Don’t forget to try their signature menus!

Overall, ambience OK, service cepar, tempat cantik dnan makanan enak. Kurang apa lagi coba. Harganya emg pricey tp worth it kok.

Hello Sushi lovers! Kintaro Sushi sempat hype banget awal 2017 lalu dan ramai banget. Tahun lalu sampai waiting list juga. Baru sempat cobain restoran ini beberapa hari lalu. Udah ga seramai dulu, hype-nya udah turun. Letaknya berdekatan dengan Teishoku Resto, sederetan dengan Massizm.

Tempatnya kecil dan ada lantia 2-nya. Karena agak sepi, jadinya semua customer makan di lantai 1. Dekornya mirip dengan restoran sushi lain, serba berbau jepang. Lucunya, sumpit di restoran ini mirip belati. So cute!

Menu yg gw pesan antara lain:

Salmon Moriawase Bridge (80k)

Penyajiannya sushi nya di atas jembatan kayu kecil yang unik. Sushinya bisa kamu pilih sendiri, yang penting jumlahnya 6 pcs. Bisa juga cari paket sushi bridgennya. Gw pilih paket Salmon : ada aburi salmon, salmon belly, salmon aburi mayo floss, salmon aburi mentaiko, salmon aburi spicy mayo, dan salmon sushi. Menurut gw aburi salmon nya enak, rasanya balance.

Sushi Bomb (95k)

Penyajiannya unik, bentuknya mirip bomb! Ada 8 pcs sushi salmon yg ada rawitnya. Bombnya berisi nasi kepal dengan salmon yang dimasak pedas. Mirip dynamite sushi. Sushi bomb nya jika dibuka akan seperti gambar di bawah ini. Must try!

Hot Stone Chirashi (120k)

Isinya nasi dengan berbagai macam topping seperti salmon, egg, nori, dan disajikan dalam hot stone agar tetap hangat. Mirip bibimbap di restoran Korea, tapi ini versi Japanese nya. Enak banget! Nagih! Recommended!

Salmon Avocado Salad (35k)

Untuk balancing nutrisi sleain karbohidrat dan protein, gw pesan salad. Rasanya biasa saja dan salmonnya pucat, indikasi salmonnya tidak fresh. Salad dressingnya cukup enak, gurih, dan agak manis.

Overall, gw suka nasi dan sushi di sini. Penyajiannya banyak yang unik, mulai dari sushi, flying soba, dan Mozaic Chirashi yang cute! Servicenya juga cukup cepat. Harganya setara dengan kompetitor lainnya. Pengen balik lagi makan di sini kalo gw punya waktu senggang.

I hope that I could be more positive in this year, be more grateful with what I have and receive as well as giving more than receiving. I just want to be happier and the others could feel the same way. For me, 2017 is a rough year to be a food blogger and I hope I can expand my blog not only about food, but also fashion, travel, photography, and beauty. As a woman, I could not deny myself that I really into fashion and beauty. Sometimes, I wish I could had more time to do different kind of makeup styles.

To start a new year, I went to Bogor for my short escape. Just to refresh my mind out of my heavy work and to think about my resolutions in 2018. I don’t want to just make the resolution, but I want to make them all happen, especially about photography. I did not realize that I love photography! Perhaps, photography tips on my blog? :p

Here are my travel outfit in Bogor. Hope you like my simple outfit 🙂

P.S: Sorry if you don’t like to see myself wearing a pair of sandals. For me, comfortable is No.1! In Bogor, you cannot predict when the rain comes. One day, suddenly the rain comes when we were in a small forest. If I wore wedges/high heels, I could get myself into a mess.

Tips: wearing your best sneakers, flat shoes, or just flippers in traveling. They are your best friends. You could find the pretty slippers in THIS IS APRIL or BERRYBENKA. They sell good leather slippers and comfy shoes with such affordable price 🙂

Hello food lovers! Kali ini gw celebrate Mother’s Day di Plataran Menteng. Gw pilih tempat ini karena ambience classic-Indonesia yang kuat dan elegant. Tempatnya benar-benar cantik, elegant, vintage, dan mewah. Terdiri dari 4 lantai dan beberapa private room, kamu bisa merayakan acara private di ruangan khusus dengan minimum spending IDR 5jt. Setiap ruang memiliki decor yang berbeda dan bisa kamu pilih.

Semua makanan disantap dengan nasi hijau, yaitu nasi uduk berwarna hijau yg gurih. Overall, makanan di sini cukup enak dan pricey. Tempatnya cantik sih dan banyak yg celebrate Christmas, birthday, dan mother’s day di sana. Cukup rmaai tempatnya. Gw puas makan di sini. Servicenya jg cukup cepat.

Christmas is coming! Have you chosen a right place to celebrate Christmas with your loved ones? If not, then you should go to Bottega Ristorante. This place is beautiful, homey-like atmosphere, and elegant. For me and my friends, we choose Bottega to celebrate Christmas.

Bottega Ristorante was in Kuningan and now, reopening again with a new concept and new menu. The decoration is quite similar with the former place, but it’s wider and more elegant. The dim light makes this place feel romantic, homey, and cozy. We choose the back side (besides the bathroom and kitchen) because this place is more private and suitable for 8-10 persons.

Indoor : Non-smoking area

The dining area looks like at our pantry at home. The decoration of Christmas is beautiful and many spots for OOTD photoshoot. There are outdoor area for smoking and indoor area for non-smoking. Both are beautifully decorated.

The service is excellent. The waitress and waiter are so nice and helpful. They treated customers like a king and queen. Here are some OOTD photos at Bottega Ristorante.

Kibo Cheesecake which is popular with the melted japanese cheese cake, has launched their new flavor: STRAWBERRY CHEESE! The sweet, sour fruit makes this Christmas become perfect! So fresh, cheesy, and be addicted! Must try guys!

FOOD & DESSERT

Seared Salmon with Romesco (185k)

It’s a Norwegian Salmon served with seasonal vegetables. The appearance looks beautiful and tempting. For me, the salmon is perfectly cooked, tender, not fishy at all. One portion is enough, not too small.

Bistecca Fiorentina (135k/100 gram)

The presentation is good and simple. For me, the beef steak is well-seasoned, but the taste is below my expectation. The texture of the meat is not tender, quite hard, although it’s medium rare.

Braised Pork Belly (127k)

MUST TRY! The oriental sauce tasted perfect with the crispy-tender pork belly.So delicious! The baby potatoes are sweet and well-seasoned.

Bakmi Truffle (149k)

Must Try! The appearance is simple, but you could smell the tasty truffle sauce! The noodle is like’bakmi’, chinese-style noodle with chewy texture. Surprisingly, this chinese noodle taste soooo delicious with the western-style truffle sauce which is creamy.

Sweet Potato Gnocchi with Pesto & Chicken (109k)

The portion is quite big for one person. The gnocchi is cooked with pesto sauce. The texture is not as chewy as I thought. It’s lie eating glutinous rice. Somehow I like it, but my friends don’t. So, it depends on your taste palate.

Bacon Mac & Cheese (Beef / pork) (116k)

The portion seems small, but it’s better to share with 1-2 persons since the creamy cheese sauce is too much for 1 person. Actually, the creamy cheese sauce is good, but it’s too much to finish all at one whole portion.

Tiramisu (78k)

The pretty tiramisu cake is perfect for Chritsmas dessert! The coffee taste balances the sweet-creamy taste of the cake. Sweet and tasty!

Overall, we like the food and service at Bottega. The place is also good for celebrating special event such as birthday, bridal shower, romantic dinner, Christmas, and many more. The price of the F&B is quite pricey, but worth it for us. The warm service from this restaurant feels like we are eating at home.

The plus point of the ayam geprek from TPC is the big size of portion and generous amount of sambal! For me, the hotness level is still tolerable for some of them. My favorite is Ayam Geprek Jumbo Sambal Bawang since the shallot aroma is good, combined with the tasty and crunchy of the fried chicken. If you dare to try the spiciest menu, you can try Ayam Geprek Sambal ijo Special. Unlike most of sambal ijo, this one is very spicy and I cried when I ate the chili!

Chicken & Tofu Clear Soup

Besides the street foods, TPC also serves chicken & tofu clear soup as the healthier choice. It consists of chicken, mushroom, and tofu with clear chicken broth base. This warm soup is a perfect choice for your appetizer before having the spicy Ayam Geprek.

Nasi Mawut

Nasi Mawut is a local street food form Java. It is a rice combined with noodle and served with chicken as toppings (similar to Nasi Magelangan). TPC serves Nasi Mawut to the next level. The steamed rice is combined with black charcoal noodle and tempting sunny side egg. The black noodle is tasty, perfectly well paired with the egg. The meat between the rice and the noodle is also tasted good.

Hot China Chix

Chicken wings are also got hype in town. TPC serves spicy chicken wings instead of any other regular chicken wings. This Hot China Chix is delicious, with chili, leek, garlic, and also ginger sprinkles. The chicken wings are crunchy, tender, and juicy. Tasty, salty, spicy, and savoury.

Hot Texas Chix

This chicken wings are made with spicy sauce. The coriander, parsley, and paprika powder have made this Hot Texas Chix even more flavourfull and spicy. So far, I like this chicken wings even though I’m not a fan of chicken wings.

Twisted Nachos

This is my favorite snack from TPC. The beef and the nachos are perfectly combined with cheese sauce and the seasoning. Spicy, savoury, and meaty. Recommended!

**Crispy Cireng (Tapioca flour)**

Cireng is the most favorite fritters and now, you can have them in TPC! The texture is chewy, crunchy, and tasted good! Dip them with the chili dipping sauce to make it perfect!

Fried Tofu Basket

The soft tofu is battered and fried. Eat it with sweet soy sauce and chili. Get addicted with the soft texture of tofu and crispy from the outside.

Overall, The People’s Cafe offers you a variety of global street food with affordable price and brings the local street cuisines to the next level. The taste is good and serves with good hygiene. Try them now!

On The Table Situation

Hello foodies! During the long weekend, my friends and I decided to spend our holiday in Twin House, Cipete, South Jakarta. The place is so instagramable with two identical yellow houses side by side. The area is not so big (it is so different from Instagram, though) and there is a space for picnic in the house yard! We were so exciting taking pictures outside and inside the house.

The house is not so spacious. Luckily, Twin House gave me the most instagramable corner! The corner is cute and there is a small swing at the corner. So sweet ♥

The Foods and drinks are good, especially the Nakula Iced Coffee and Sadewa Iced Coffee.

Iced Cubed Coffee

The difference between them Nakula dan Sadewa Iced Coffee :

Nakula Coffee (40k)

Nakula Coffee has hazelnut flavoured milk to be mixed with the iced cubed coffee. For me, the aroma and taste of the hazelnut are not detected when you mix the milk with the cubes. When you drink it, you will taste the creamy, milky, and the sweetness of the coffee. So good! I don’t like coffee, I like this one! The coffee is not too strong and less sweet. Superb!

Sadewa Coffee (40k)

Sadewa coffee is the ‘twin’ of Nakula. The concept is same with Nakula. However, Sadewa coffee has caramel cinnamon flavoured milk. You can see the cinnamon powder on the surface of the milk. The smell of cinnamon is quite strong and when you mix the milk with the coffee cubes, you will taste the cinnamon. The coffee is well-blended with the cinnamon milk. The iced coffee is good if you like cinnamon. Since I don’t like cinnamon, I prefer the Nakula Coffee.

Cappucino (35k)

The Cappucino is beautiful! The latte art is the common leaf-type, but it looks cute inside a pink cup. The taste is standard, like any other cappucino. If you like sweet, you must add more sugar.

Dory Salsa Matah (40k)

The appearance is like common Indonesian food, consists of rice, sunny egg, bakwan, and fried dory with sambal matah on top. The sambal matah is quite good, the more you eat it, you will sense the hotness. For me, the taste is quite tasty and the portion is enough for fulfilling your hunger.

Nasi Kebon with Churry Chicken Katsu (50k)

The appearance is dominated by yellow curry and green lettuce. Just like the name : Kebon (garden). The chicken katsu is on top of the rice. The taste is so-so, not my favorite.

Penne Alfredo Sauce with Salmon (50k)

This one is so creamy and milky. The salmon pieces are generous. For me, I cannot finish 1 portion since it is too creamy.

Penne with Animal Sauce (50k)

The penne is cooked with bolognese sauce. Better this one than the former one. For me, the dish is so-so, nothing special.

Monterey Chicken (60k)

I did not take the picture because this dish took so long to be served. The taste is quite delicious. The chicken is perfectly grilled with the melted mozzarella on top of it. This one is my favorite!

Overall, Twin House is a very good place for celebrating important moments; enjoying your time with your friends and family, or you can spend your time with your loved ones. The foods are not as good as I expected and the price is quite pricey. However, the iced cubed coffee is so good! For once in a lifetime, you can spend your weekend in Twin House. You can try the picnic spot to enjoy the nature and good ambience. Better to reserve 2 weeks before the Day (it was so crowded very weekends).

Chinatown Bandung

Hello travelers! Have you heard about Chinatown Bandung? It is recently opened on 4th August 2017. Located at Jalan Klenteng No. 41 (near Waringin School), Chinatown has been popular as the hype destination in Bandung. On 17th of August, the Chinatown is officially opened by the local government.

The Chinatown is easily spotted from the Chinese design of the building. You must pay for the entrance fee (information is below) and get 1 small bottle of mineral water. You can take a picture on the paintings before you enter the building.

When you enter the door, you can directly turn left to get in a small room with lots of oriental stuffs and a history of the Chinatown in Bandung. The ornament and design are very good and unique as if you are traveling in the ancient Chinese era.

Like any other chinatown places, there are many colourful lanterns. You can taking pictures in the afternoon or in the evening when all the lanterns are turned on. Very beautiful!

You must go up to a house to take some OOTD photos or just taking pictures of the beautiful view. There is also a red bridge at the center of the building which is so Chinese-style and instagram-able.

Inside the Souvenir’s Store

There are many souvenir stores at the right side of the building. Starting from Batik, kitchen tools, souvenirs, and also snacks. All of the stores are well-designed like in old Chinese era. You can also taking pictures at the ‘living room’ with jadoel-style home decor.

Nasi Rames and Nasi Padang

Tahu Gejrot

The foods are mostly Indonesian street food, such as Es Dung Dung, Es Alpukat, Soto Ayam, Gado-Gado, Ketoprak, Nasi Goreng, Batagor, Tahu Baso, Baso Kuah, and fresh fruits. The price is ranged from IDR 10.000 to IDR 50.000/dish. I like the Baso Goreng and Nasi Lengko (traditional food from Cirebon).

For the Soto Lamongan, it is too salty. Actually, the seasoning is quite tasty, soupy, long-boiled, and meaty. However, since it is too salty, I could not enjoy the soto 😦

The Tahu Baso is more likely siomay in Jakarta. The taste is so-so and the peanut sauce is too spicy. If you cannot eat spicy food, better to avoid this.

All foods in Chinatown must be paid via Debit Card or Flazz BCA. No cash or credit card. This is the food court in Chinatown Bandung. Very beautiful, isn’t it? Old-fashioned, but so cool!
